Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists’ main goal is to return injured patients to a healthy life. They perform physical examinations, design treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy where appropriate. Patients are an active part of their healing. AT and PT will teach specific stretches and exercises to get the patient progressing and back in the action.
Employment in healthcare represent the largest growing sector in the US, adding more jobs than any other occupational group. Healthcare occupations are projected to grow 19 percent through 2024.
